1. About Us

MSA Roofing (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides professional metal roofing installation services for residential and commercial projects throughout Melbourne and surrounding areas.

2. Quotations

All quotations provided by MSA Roofing are:

  • Valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
  • Based on the information supplied at the time of quoting.
  • Subject to site inspection and confirmation of project requirements.
  • Excluding additional works not specifically outlined in the quotation.

Any variations to the agreed scope of work may result in additional charges.

3. Acceptance of Quotation

Acceptance of a quotation may be provided in writing, via email, signed agreement, or payment of a deposit where applicable. Once accepted, a binding agreement is formed between the client and MSA Roofing.

4. Scope of Services

MSA Roofing will perform roofing services as outlined in the accepted quotation or contract. Any changes requested after commencement of works must be approved by both parties and may affect project costs and timelines.

5. Project Timelines

Estimated commencement and completion dates are provided in good faith but may be affected by:

  • Weather conditions
  • Material availability
  • Site access restrictions
  • Delays caused by third parties
  • Unforeseen site conditions

MSA Roofing will make reasonable efforts to minimise delays but shall not be liable for delays outside of our control.

6. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the property.
  • Ensure all necessary approvals and permits are obtained unless otherwise agreed.
  • Disclose any known site hazards or restrictions.
  • Remove or protect personal belongings that may be affected by construction activities.

7. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified within the quotation or contract.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Deposits may be required before commencement.
  • Progress payments may apply for larger projects.
  • Final payment is due upon completion of works.
  • Late payments may incur interest and debt recovery costs where permitted by law.

8. Variations

Any additional work requested by the client that falls outside the original scope will be treated as a variation.

Variations may result in:

  • Additional costs
  • Changes to project timelines
  • Revised completion dates

All variations should be approved before the work is undertaken.

9. Warranties

MSA Roofing warrants that services will be carried out with reasonable care, skill, and workmanship in accordance with applicable Australian standards and regulations.

Manufacturer warranties for roofing materials remain subject to the terms and conditions provided by the respective manufacturer.

Warranty claims do not cover:

  • Damage caused by third parties
  • Misuse or neglect
  • Natural disasters or severe weather events
  • Unauthorised modifications or repairs

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MSA Roofing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from the use of our services or website.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

11. Website Use

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, graphics, and design elements, is the property of MSA Roofing unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use website content without prior written permission.

12. Privacy

Any personal information collected through our website or during the course of providing services will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy laws.

13. Termination

MSA Roofing reserves the right to suspend or terminate services where:

  • Payment obligations are not met.
  • Site conditions are unsafe.
  • The client breaches these Terms and Conditions.

Any work completed up to the date of termination will remain payable.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
